Heaven's pain and loveIt was a glorious morning,
bright like no other,
until the Heavens started crying.
Looking for comfort in a veil,
a veil of darkness,
covering the lands like a blanket.
Angels doing all they can,
to soothe the pain.
Calming down,
the brightness returns,
and so the heart yearns.

A sign of weakness, the way that your lips tremble
Before a tear rolls down your cheek
Leaving behind a trace of the hurt you felt.

In the corner of your room and letting the pain overthrow your serenity.
These things I tell myself before I succumb to the
Blissful release of tears and their salty taste on
My dried out, colorless lips.

Choke it back, don't show them how much they hurt you.
The small voice in my head slowly grows louder
Letting me control myself, stopping the wetness in
It's tracks.
I do not cry.
I am strong
I am bold, beautiful, better than that
I have grown in my strength and in the way I see the world.
I do not cry.
Crying won't help anything
And just makes you look like a sissy
It isn't a release, it's an excuse to keep yourself from examining the pain.
From thinking too much about it.
We are strong enough
Ea The PlayThe lights flicker to life, and the incandescent bulbs fill the room with a soft glow. I see a stage, and on it, the players. What production have I happened upon?
The scenes speed by, and slowly I realize the play is my life. With that realization, this production gives me great fear. How do they know so much about me?
I see familiar points in my life. The ones that really shaped who I have become. The scenes with the one that got away. The day I decided not to trust anymore. The one that re-awakened my emotion.
As I continue to watch, I find other moments. The night it all went wrong. The time I lost my faith. Moving away from home for the first time. The pain of loss. Tearing myself away from a compulsive habit.
Soon it gets to the point that these moments are ones I haven't yet experienced. The day I finally find her. My debts are finally gone. Teaching my child to ride a bike. Growing old with the one I love.
I can only hope the play shows the truth. The curtain closes, and everyt
